Hey, I thought it was a 150 yard requirement.

I've already broken into the 100 yard club last year. Sadly I have no pictures though. Yes, I know I know. Pics, or it didn't happen:)

Anyway, I made a nice center mass hit on a Starling last summer. I lazed him at 106 yards from my perch on the side patio. The first shot missed, but only because I did not account for the wind. He did jump, but he didn't fly off so on the second shot I gave the needed 1 mil hold for the wind, and that sucker when down hard. It was late in the evening and he landed out on the beautiful and wide Fairway behind my home. I went out immediately afterward and picked it up to feed to my cat. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Pellgunfun---yes 100 yards gets one into the club. The further the shot the more status quo one acquires. Did anyone witness the shot?

lol, Photoshop. That's a good one. Wish I did know how to use Photoshop, I could make my fish look a lot bigger. Of course it will won't be larger on my plate:)

i have taken multiple targets out at the 150yd+ mark

some with feathers (pigeons/starlings)

some with fur (groundhogs)

some made of metal (soda cans)

some made of clay (clays)

have scopecam video of some of them so it adheres to the rules LOL

nothing like connecting on a really long shot to make your smile wrap all the way around your head

Not a great day on the long range shooting today. Set up a empty oxy twnk from a oxy/map gas torch. (Same size as the propain torch u ca buy at Walmart, about 3" diameter, 12" tall) and hung it from a tree hanging over the pond. Hit it three times out of 10, but the wind kept shifting. Everytime I dialed the scope left/right, it would shift just a little. Couldn't get any on camra. But I had a great clip of me shooting (and missing) while in the back ground u can hear my adhd son asking me the same stupid question over and over again. I could rent him out to the military as a stress test/training aid. Hit the target, not the kid, and u graduate.

I used to watch it all the time when I was a kid.

It still comes on too. I watch it my kids sometimes, they think it's really funny. It is aired on the Me TV network in my area. It's not a cable channel, but an over the air HD channel. I pretty sure it's broadcast over the whole US though. I've 'cut the cord' so I don't have Cable or Directv any more.

Yep, my son has killed soda cans at 150+ yards with the Condor, as well as my 13 year old daughter. My 11 year old daughter has got up to about 130 or so. We have little competitions with cans set out every ten yards beginning at about 70 yards or so, and go out to 150 or so. It really not worthy when they beat you.

I'll be darned!!! I didn't notice that you had a question for me till just now. Yes, my son witnessed that shot. Matter of fact he's still ahead of me, now that I think about it. I set him up on another Starling about 45 minutes later. It was on the same hillside but on the up slope closer to a sand trap. I lazed that one at 109 yards. Dang it, he bested me by 3 yards. I can't believe I forgot that til just now.

Oh, it's on now!!! I shall throw down the gantlet, and issue a challenge to him.

I will have my satisfaction!!! Hehehe......

This is my attempt at joining the long range club.

I have shot at 100 yds quite a bit but never until today tried anything longer.

I'm not sure exactly of the range but I'm thinking about 170 yds. Definitely well over 150.

.25 SynRod shooting 27.8gr Benjamin Domes @ 940 fps, Utg Accushot 3-12X44 @ 12

First pic is from the shooting bench in the garage.

Third pic is from the target back to the garage I was shooting from.

Well if you click on the picture of the bucket to enlarge it you can see I hit the pellet tin once, and the bucket a few times.

Also shot some more this evening and was hitting the bucket pretty consistently, but never hit the pellet tin again, came real close a few times. Winds were tricky, one minute almost nothing, then a breeze and at that range a slight breeze was moving the pellet a foot or so.

I need to get my 200 foot tape out and actually measure but I'm pretty sure it is real close to 170 yds.

I would have tried a little shorter range but I didn't want to move my bench out of the garage, if the target was any closer I wouldn't be able to see it because of the hill, as it was I had to put it up on that milk crate.

That's NY? Where are all the tall buildings? Hahaha. I'm just messing with ya

Look like a great place to shoot, and raise kids. Looking at the picture I'm certain you've got enough room to really stretch out the range beyond 170.

I think what messed you up was the bucket handle. It was on the wrong side, and causing the pellets to be pushed off. Not to mention it was casting a shadow on you tin target. I'm confident if you moved the handle to the other side there would be 3 holes in the Tin, not one

Don't you agree?

Next time just put the handle straight up and tie on a piece of toilet paper. That would be a great wind indicator right on top of the target.

If it ever stops raining here, I've got more tuning work that needs to be completed before I can lay the smack down to my son on this long range challenge. He doesn't know it yet, but I'm gonna bend the skirts of his pellets

152.6 yards with my bt65 25 cal stock
I shoot four more clips after pic of target
1 shot in bullseye, 1 group of 5 3-3/4 inches
I got one group of four at right under a inch but since it was on box and not target I'm not counting it.
Group of 4 three inches. Group of three 2-1/2 inches

Not to bad for my 1st time moving out to 150 yards with paper target and had some wind making me have to hold over to the right
