I don't know enough about the engineering or manufacturing process to have more than a humble opinion, but I don't think that can be done in that price range. One thing that I have learned though is that there are some guys on this forum that do have the knowledge and ability to figure out how to build one.

I'm just waiting for some tests...
Though I never laid my hand on a Sharp Ace, I'm quite sure the one on the pic is not a Webley. I've been shooting a wood stock version of a Webley for 2 years now, and I can use it today without without being exposed to a severe nervous breakdown. I "tamed" it but its accuracy still can't compete with my Crosman 2100's. I even gave up putting a scope on it, as iron sights are faster to adjust, if you see what I mean.So I keep the SPA-LR700w in my survey list.
Unfortunately our community is only 20,000 strong. Even in the unlikely event that all 20,000 of us bought one the profits wouldn't even cover the cost of R&D. Supply and Demand man. Be interesting to see how many more years the modern day 392/397 will be produced. Poor quality mass production.
