After a considerable amount of time researching this topic I have settled on the HW98 and will have it tuned before being shipped to me.  Can't wait.

Great gun,you will enjoy her.
But it's better first to shoot 1000-1500 pellets to smooth the insides and then tune it.

I'm going with a .177 caliber as I expect my time will be 75% target and plinking and 25% hunting/pest control.  I'm new to adult AGs after almost 40 years with firearms and a couple of CO2 pistols when I was a kid.  Really made the pest birds pay for raiding our cherry trees with a Daisy Powerline...
