A good friend had this T shirt made up for me!!!I love it!!!
I have nothing against the Disco personally, but id rather go for a budget model like a Marauder or Hatsan at44 qe, they offer so many features at such a good price.
I'm having 1 made up in every color Dan!!!Hats too!!!And make sure you remember the bicycle pump bro!!!
As always, I appreciate all the input. I have plenty of time to research my next purchase as it will take some time to save the money. Beside that, I also have two other new to me guns to keep me busy. Most likely I will be shooting paper at 30 yards and less 95% of the time. I don't need a ton of power but would like around 25-30 pfe. I would like an air rifle in .22. I will be doing some hunting also. So far I'm liking the disco. Are there a lot of upgrades as far as muzzle breaks or shrouds to make it backyard friendly? How's the trigger. I want something to be able to grow onto and modify to grow with me?

While the tuned ones were better than the untuned ones, nothing compares to a PCP. My Disco shoots the same groups (1/2" at 25-30 yards) that I struggled to get at 10 yards with a springer. If Palone comes in here and tells you there is no reason to own a "puffer", don't listen to him. The springer Gods have blessed his hands and sent him to lead others (who do not have the same magic touch) down the long, painful road of springers!Joe: that's called tinnitus! Hmmmmmmmmm!!No wonder my ears were ringing!!!

As Joe and many others who have mastered the spring will tell you if you can shoot the spring you can shoot anything....A springer makes you an all around better shooter....
Yeah! Buy yourself a PCP. Then keep on spending your money on $400 hi pressure tanks + hoses + constant trips to get the tanks refilled (How far away is the refill station?) and/or hydroed. Then throw it away after a few years and buy another one. Or two. It'll be fun hauling the tank around on an outing in the countryside. Have seen golf bag carts modded to carry air tanks. Could get a set of knobbies for trekking thru the woods. Wouldn't want to havta hike all the way back to the truck for a refill. Have often wondered why guys don't just carry the CF tanks on their backs. Heaven forbid you forget the tank or hose when you drive an hour or so to a primo shooting spot.Yeah, it only adds to the fun to have to stop every 20 or so shots to refill the PCP. Right? But think of the money you'll save on pellets! Guess you could buy and carry a few other PCPs for each outing so you wouldn't have to keep refilling. Just switch PCPs. My shooting sessions generally send at a coupla hundred pellets 'down range'. Or you may enjoy the work out (or stroke out) you get from attempting to pump your rifle to 3000+psi by hand pump. Yeah, I tried it for a ~2300psi PCP. Don't weigh enough to make that work for me. Or you could spend another coupla thousand for your own compressor. Which you will also have to maintain or pay somebody else to. Or get one of those 'pocket' compressors that might last a few refills before needing an overhaul. With a quality springer or vintage MSP, I take the airgun(s) and some pellets and make clean kill shots out to 50+ yards.
Very nice shooting Ed and you must admit that your R9 is not your average out of the box springer. In fact when I joined the GTA you were one of the "Springer" guys who gave me helpful advice to improve my Gamo Whisper. and set me on the road to seeking the best results possible for every springer I now own. Next is a question about the RX2 .20 , does anyone of the serious competitors use one in HFT matches?
