In an earlier post, I had asked if anyone had questions about the new Pulsar which I would try and get answered by DayState. Here are their answers to the questions I received.
Will the Pulsar be regulated? Yes, via digital map system
What color is the laser? Red
How is the laser activated? Cocked, safety catch off
Will a carbon fiber bottle/cylinder be available? No
Will the Pulsar be offered in .25, .30, .357 and when? If enough interest a .25 will be available and possibly larger caliber
Will the gun have internal baffles? Yes, quietest DayState yet produced
Will the gun accept a moderator such as a Huggett or Airstream? Yes, standard ½” UNF
Will the Pulsar have Bluetooth so it can be programmed via a mobile phone or computer? No
Did DayState purposefully mimic the design of the Pulsar off the FX Bobcat? Pulsar is an updated design on the bullpup concept not dissimilar to DayState Venom or SR92.
Will the grip be swappable with all of the AR rifle grips on the market? No
Why put a picatinny and/or weaver rail on bottom and not for the scope rail? Industry standard is dovetail 3/8th. Should this change DayState will consider.
Will DayState be releasing a tactical version of the Pulsar? Yes
What is the length of the barrel? 17"
Who makes the barrel? Lothar Walther
Where is the spirit/bubble level located on the rifle?Rear lower scope rail
Is that a magnet on the side lever? Does this ensure the rifle does not shoot when the bolt is open? Yes, rifle cannot fire when side lever open. Rifle is effectively switched off.
Need to identify what some of the bits are like the lump in front of the trigger Adjustable laser
Is the air cylinder/bottle removable? Only for service/repair.
Is the Pulsar the official replacement for the Mk4is/Target? Yes
Will DayState be producing a Field Target rifle? Unable to say at this time
When will DayState stop producing the Mk4? Production has already stopped.
Will the ORO come with a hard case? Yes
Will any of the parts from the Pulsar be adapted for use on future DayState rifles? Possibly
Will the replaceable battery design be the norm for future electronic DayState rifles? Yes
What are some of the new features that can be programmed/managed via the new GCU?
-3 Power (MAP) Settings
-Lo Pressure Warning On/Off
-10 bar below MAP
Will the user be able to adjust the pellet velocity using the GCU? Yes. 3 power maps
Will DayState be adding any new distributors/dealers in the United States? All through precision air guns distribution, AOA.
Will there be more stock options such as a sporter? No Answer
How much for standard edition rifle- same price for Walnut, tac or laminate? Standard Edition: £1785 (£1920 FAC) High quality Walnut or Tactical, £1995 (£2105 FAC) Grey or Forest laminate.
Will the laser come fitted to standard edition gun or optional extra? Laser is standard on all editions
Will there ever be a "Wolverine E" or will all elec guns have the new action from now on? Cannot say at this time.
Will existing Airstream moderators fit or new models made? Yes
Shot count FAC and sub 12? DayState is currently testing maps

What are DayState's plans for the Air Wolf? None at this time
Is a magnet part of the safety latch? Yes
Does Gary Can still design stocks for DayState? Yes
