Small non co2 pistol

Its barrel is a couple of inches longer than some of the others mentioned but is still small compared to many.

Just the barrel on the 1701 is 1/2" longer then the entire P17.

$375 and the additional cost of a fill source would eliminate the argument for me in the first place. The OP also opened the possibility of a C02 in case he had a change of mind. He/she does live in Ohio and I just wanted to remind him about C02 and cold weather. However, a fun C02 (at a reasonably price) is the Vigilante. If you don't mind single shot, there's the 2240 which can be modded down the road if his/her interests go in that direction.

I really like my P17 and I never had to do anything to it.  I have had it two years now.

It has the nicest trigger of any gun I have ever touched, air or otherwise.

I didn't know what a good trigger was till I shot one.  You can't beat the price.

It is easy to get a holster for it, very accurate.  In the ranges you are going to shot it I never saw a reason for anything other than the fixed sights on it.

Mine is not pellet picky at all, really fun gun to own.
