I've seen a lot of folks over time who have poor results with many types of rifles, and since they can't find a quick internet solution or bolt on repair that will magically turn their rifle into a fly swatter at 50 yards, declare ALL of said rifles to be junk. All too often, the problem is the shooter and not the gun. The XS28's are particularly subject to this sort of lack of patience and ability considering their power and known hold sensitivity. For those of us who understand these guns and have taken the time to learn how to shoot them properly though, particularly Flying Dragon tuned versions, they're some of the best buys out there bar none.

Hey AHMSA, I'm over in Downtown Plymouth.  When it warms up maybe we can sync up.  I have a 28 that was tuned by MM.  It was really good but out of curiosity I then decided I wanted to compare it with Vortek tune.  Tom Gore personally did the tune.  Trigger is very light and it is a thumper.  Power is slightly lower than when it came from MM but it may be a bit smoother.  It is a massive gun tho.  Easily the longest rifle I have.

I agree. Magnum springgers require a lot of patience to shoot accurately. Each gun has its own way that it likes to be held.  However, once mastered, they are the best guns ever... at least in my opinion.

Hey Mike, based on the comments I read so far, I'm very interested in a fully-tuned XS28M.  Whenever, I'm ready to order one, I will call you.  What I'm looking for is very basic and simple... I will be asking for a unicorn. I heard you can help with that!

I recently ordered a Hatsan 125 and I will give it a try.  I recently read a comment in reply to a list of guns that someone mentioned he wanted to choose from.  The comment was to admit that eventually he will own each one of them, so just start buying them in the order he prefers.  This seems like the case for me.  So I ordered my 15'ish gun / 3th magnum springger.  I'm guessing it won't be the last one either.

I recieved my .25 cal MM-tuned B-28 for Christmas in 2013.  I haven't bought myself an airgun since.  I have my eye on a few, mostly because I would like a good, lightweight .177 beater to tote around in the river bottoms.  Something with enough power to take mid-size critters up close, that I can buy pellets for in the store, lol.  But the B28 is still my most favorite airgun that I've owned.  I have had some sweet shooters, too.
