FX R 400 question please

Could I have my fx 400 tuned at the medium power setting to shoot jsb 18.1's around 880 fps and shoot the jsb monster 25's on hi?

I don't know enough to comment, but will anyway. I doubt it. I have a 24 inch barrel on my FX Royale and it shoots 18.1 gr.@ 1000 FPS...on high. The longer barrel gives you a good shot count and higher velocity if you want it.  What I am getting at is the longer barrel might help. I never chronied  it  on any  other setting than high, but I might see what it is doing on Med Power.

Thanks for the barrel info Nutcracker, I took off my shroud and measured from the front of the plastic clip, mines 19.25". I didn't know they made a 24" royale? A regulator will also help useable shot count. I'm sending mine back to aoa in a week or 2 to have it retuned, sd's  4.98 over 80 shots, averaging 872 fps. I hope they can get sd down around 3ish and raise fps 20ish. I don't know how much shot count I will loose? I'll ask um about that 24" barrel, is it a smooth twist?

Yeah, it is a ST, AOA has them. Think they are 24.5 and they might cut them to the length  you want.
