Well i was happy with my set up for about a week and then wondered if it would still dump the tank with no restrictor and no washer behind the top hat. So the set up was pw 0 slide on 1, ttth no restrictor, 95 gr hammer, jds reg and adapter set at 2300 psi and .020 washer behind top hat 32.4 gr 769 avg for 42 fpe. 25.4 gr 835 fps for 39 fpe. Now without the washer 32.4 gr 762 41.7 fpe and the 25.4 stayed almost the same. Now for the interesting part! I put a .040 washer inbetween the top hat and had a very noticable decrease in the noise level and not alot of loss in velocity. The 32.4 gr dropped 745 fps avg for 40 fpe. The 25.4 gr jsb actually lost more velocity than the ej. They dropped to 785 fps. For 35 fpe. I thought it was interesting that the ej 32 gr pellets lost less velocity than the 25.4 gr jsbs. I figured they would have lost a propeotional amount.
