11377 Valve problem

      My 1377 seemed to be losing pressure if it sat more then a minute fps dropped off 30+ fps 0r more if it set longer. So I took the pistol apart and found that when the hole for the set screw was drilled they pierced the air chamber. Has anyone else found this to be a problem? I was going to replace it with a high performance brass one anyway but now am wondering if this something that I should watch for in a replacement valve also?
      Any input or information would be helpful.

You mean the front trigger screw?.... heard of that once before, congrat's you won the lottery....

I picked up some high strength pipe dope (Teflon) at Menards. It's supposed to hold up to high pressure. Haven't tried it yet, but it might help you out some.

  What is the one, so at least I know to check that right off the bat. Gun is still under warranty so there sending me a new pistol. Will check around for the Teflon also as I want to push this as far as possible as far as pressure is concerned. What could come in hand for sure.

You might get lucky but PTFE tape is meant to seal tapered fittings.  Can't hurt to try it but from my experience, carefully loading the threads (both male and female) with an epoxy has a better chance of sealing.  I'm not familiar with what is in the vicinity in this case so just be mindful of where any squeezeout will go and either try to prevent it or orient the parts for curing so it will pool in an innocuous or advantageous place.
