I agree Jeff, it certainly can put a damper a persons spirit to get out and hunt. However it will not stop me, with deer season just days away. I am hopin I can get a couple deer for the freezer, and then start bustin some rabbits with my german ladies.Do you have a storefront there in Sparta. It is about a two hour drive from where I live, I will be laid off between Christmas and New Years. If I have some extra money leftover after Shopping for the holidays I may have to take a road trip with the wife over to your neck of the woods.

Hi Jeff that's cold weather.
Just heard from a friend in Hamburg NY.
His area is supposed to get 70 inches of snow by tomorrow,
And he wanted to go hunting tomorrow as well.
Winter is starting to loose its appeal.

Jeff does indeed have a storefront, and it is an very nice little setup he has there as well. I made the trip with some friends out there a few weeks back from Madison, WI to pick up my Hatsan.

It's actually going to get into the twenties tomorrow here in Stevens Point. Then back down to single digits for at least another week.
It's hard to imagine we may be able to see the grass in a month.
