the barrels are machined differently, the gen two and 1 1/2 have the O-rings machined into the head of the valve rather than behind as in the gen one, the 1 1/2 has O-rings on the bolt to remove the play...lower velocity in factory trim for the 1 1/2 and two gen...gen two has the safety I think that's about all the differences,,,

What size are those bolt o-rings? Could they just be slipped onto a gen 1?

special grooves cut in the bolt for then, use the 012 o-ring as used on the barrel...

I too am very interested in the 2nd generation valves if that can cure some of the ailments of the 1st generation PCPs. I think that I need some spare parts too to make sure my rifle will be operational for a long time to come. Things like the intake valve and fill nipple, the valve itself and the valve assembly. I also need some clear o-rings that seal the valve inside the air tank.
Can I have a quote for these items Mike?
