I'd be interested in hearing what FWB has to say about that. I would hope Tom and Pyramid would point this out to them for comment.I don't see what all the hubbub was about on the new sport. The price seemed to be overblown as an issue. I can name 10 other springers at that price or more and they never got dissed..22's are nice if you are trying to consistently knockdown raccoon sized game or are shooting silhouette. I still have a huge affinity for the .177 though. I will look forward to more updates as the rifle breaks in more. I'm sure it will only get better and better.
Ok now for the trick question ! Jesse do you feel that the Feinwerkbau sport .177 is a superior rifle than a D34 Tuned Vortecked and worked trigger ~1 lb pull ?

Try real hard to be objective, I understand you have to justify in your mind that it is ok to spend an extra $500 for "another .177 break barrel" And yes I know I am a great one to question another addicts judgement
Ok gotcha it is about refinement so it is like a Rolling Rock beer vs Dom Periogn

Most of the loudest detractors, on another forum, have more than one inflatable over $1500.......that leaked out of the box.

Money to burn? Lottery Winner? Not that hard to find, really. Quick shop of some online catalogs will get you there. I dare say that most have nowhere near the personality of the FWB so you would be in for disappointment.
You will find most of the complaints on this rifle are from people who never even fired one much less owned one. I would suggest that before one complains about the cost or quality to at least shoot it first, then come to their own conclusion.I do not have money to burn, I save my money, sell my other hobby equipment to support this one. I sold a $2000 chess set not too long ago, and still was able to recoup 80% of the money I had in it after 10 years.
I just found this review and thought it was a very good one. Nice job. I too am the proud owner of a FWB Sport. Although I haven't had time to do a full review I would like to report my findings. Mine came last Wednesday and all I had time to do was take it out of the box and wipe it down. The stock is very nice. I took the sport and put it in the safe til Saturday, I didn't have to work and was gonna spend the day trying different pellets for groups and chrony #'s. Well when I got the gun out on sat morning I could smell oil. Oil had ran out the back of the receiver and down the stock. I wiped it up and could see a lot of oil inside the chamber. I couldn't shoot it like this, the thing would have dieseled forever. So I got my spring compressor out and disassembled her. I'm sure the factory did not put this type of oil in this gun. After I got all the oil cleaned out I looked it over for sharp edges. I found no sharp edges on anything, the seal looked new so put it all back together and started shooting. Long story short, it shot premiers the best. They chronyed an average of 880 fps. I am very happy with how it turned out. Someday I will experiment with some different springs, spacers etc.
