Leupold and Zeiss make some very nice rifle scopes, but there is one significant problem for air rifle use: generally the lowest parallax distance settable is 50 yards. A min of 25 might work for airguns, but not 50.Do these or other makers of high-end [centerfire] firearm scopes make any models without this limitation, perhaps? Are there other brands I should consider?(I have a couple Hawke scopes, and they are nice, but I am interested in trying something else.)
Many of the high-end scopes have a custom shop that will reset parallax for whatever you want. I've done it on less expensive optics by turning the last lens in the objective until I could move my head and not change POI at my preferred target range.

Leupold efr 's go down to 10 yd
i just don't understand why folks spend several hundred to thousands of dollars or more to see something 30 to 100 yards away . i can understand for shooting a few hundred yards to several hundred yards away ....... i wonder just what they're seeing that my 16x leapers or 24x hawke varmint isn't seeing .
I bought a Bushnell 8-32 last night after a lot of research. It sounds like quite a scope for the money.

Tough is a good thing for me.
