Same quality rifles just cheaper. Like was said before,I get why they can be expensive. Rapidly with the testing and what not, but if you are able to produce many of them, more people well but and close that gap.
Would like to do more us made rifles to compete with fx, radically since many don't want to deal with certain companies to get one.

man...this has turned into a free for all wish list...obviously we can't tell the future but I was hoping we could have a somewhat decent guess at what will be out in the next 1-3 years. Not 5-10
Like for example, we could speculate the smart phones 2 years from now will probably have a 1.5x longer lasting battery, 16-20mp cameras as the norm instead of 8-16 now, smarter siri/cortana/google now, maybe 3D is optional on all brands, etc...who knows what 5-10 year would bring. Maybe 8.5" phone lol Sucky thing is airguns are not mass goods as "smart phones" so they are definitely not the same as far as speed of change/innovation.
I do wish a lot of your wish lists would come true. Would definitely be nice but some are a lot more likely then others to happen in the next couple years.

My hope for the next 1-3 years is that manufactures will return to the days that quality meant something. Could you just imagine what the SynRod could have been if all the mods that the MROD fanatics came up with were actually implemented in a quality first setting. And the NP2. And what about the good old days of the Boxed CPLs and CPHs when they were the all that and then some. Great designs are already around, they just aren't being implemented in a quality first environment.
Even the high end manufactures have let quality fall out (or likely threw it out) the window. AA released the FTP900 for $2500 and many many had to go back for various failures. How was a $2500 competition rifle that was known to be going into the hands of highly discriminating and vocal world-class shooters not individually tested and QC approved before shipping. Same goes for new Daystates and even Steyr (though to a lesser degree).
Until manufactures make a commitment to quality for their high end products there is no hope for an off the shelf $500-1000 improved PCP or springer.
So my hope for the next 1-3 years is that whatever is being produced for the adult airgun market is made with quality in mind.
