Twang happens after the pellets has left the barrel. But a kitted gun is nicer to shoot and in my mind shoots better.
 After all the truth is what ever you believe to be true.  For a long time it was true that the earth was flat and if you sailed far enough you would fall off.

Sometimes confidence helps hitting the target, and if the twang gives you less confidence then accuracy might suffer. JMHO

Hey! I think I found an 18 second video of a HW95 shooting with the honk! you describe at 11 seconds. Good shooting though.
