It is my pleasure gentlemen.

The HPA upgrade, is very simple.

We manufacture an end fitting to replace the CO2 cart and end cap, then there are many inexpensive methods to put the combo together.

Paintball, drop forward adaptor, tank, reg and braided or other hose and there you go.

No limit to how you mod these after getting the simple adaptor.

Will have these puppies in our hands by the end of the week.

Hard to believe you guys don't play with paintball regs.

From 350psi, to 3000 psi regs are inexpensive.

Standard, set pressure, and adjustable are available and everywhere.

That's why I choose this simple approach.

Our 850psi regs for instance are just over 20 bucks and perform great with the existing CO2 tune.

Added power, negates the difference in fps from 177 to 22 and shot count is thru the roof.

Tanks from 13ci to 21ci for volume. (The 13cu makes for a perfect 14.5" LOP)

Well Gentlemen, today is the day.

The CP-1 multi shot pistols, have been sitting in a trucking terminal for far too long now and although not the fault of the trucking company, we have waited long enough.

I have sent my daughters fiancée, to retrieve the shipment personally and they will be at the shop this afternoon without fail as promised.

Until recently, I have been running Mrodair, with the assistance of my faithful fox hound Max.

Last week, my daughter and future son in law have decided to move to town and build themselves their first home and work for ole dad.

As you can imagine, I'm pretty happy about that.

At any rate, my new found assistant, volunteered to drive to Memphis and collect our shipment and is on the road as I type this message.

In only a few hours, we will have our shipment and start testing and shipping more than 100 from our pre sale offer.

This is giving me, an opportunity, to stay at the shop and run the HPA mod components you guys have asked for and from the looks of things around here, our future production schedule will be accelerated to get more mods completed and to you much more promptly.


You will be receiving your new CP-1M pistols during the coming week, as they will leave here via USPS on Monday.

We had a few tweaks done to the new CP-1m and I noticed your later model had the longer grip.

We spect them 10mm longer than the original, which was a bit shorter than the new version.

Also, had them drill and tap the new trigger so we can install a simple set screw, to adjust sear

I ordered one today to try out in 22 cal.   Shot strings and accuracy posts to follow.   


edit:   buyers remorse on caliber .... mrodair was kind enough to call me back and let me change to a 177 cal instead of a 22.  kudos to them for taking the time to call me back and look for my order to make the change.  I hope to get it by next week

CP1-M arrived this morning. This pistol looked real good in the pictures and utube vids, but it is even better now that I have my hands on it.  It appears to be flawless. It has a left hand bolt, which I prefer but did not expect to get.  It is all perfectly finished wood and metal - no plastic except for the clear cover plate on the magazines.  The body of the mags are all metal and have a magnet to keep them in place. The trigger is very good and I think adjustable.  The single shot adapter is all metal and also has a magnet.  I am very happy with this purchase.

We changed these a lot from the original design shipped elsewhere.

Mrodair, has the ability to work directly with the SPA engineers, to help our first production runs to have much less "beta testing" being done with our customers.

Just a few changes were.

Longer grip

Aluminum magazine

Trigger modded with drilled and tapped hole, for installation of sear adjustment screw.
(They did exactly as I asked, but I forgot to spec the screw length)
I will post the size for any who wish to do the mod and a nickel at the local bolt store will do the job.
(Should be 3mm socket head set screw)

We did have to forego the checkering, as the die was already made for the smaller grip and looked weird on the full sized version.
(Believe me guys, the grips were WAAAAAY TOO SHORT)

Bolt handle was swapped, so there is no reaching across the top, or changing your grip hand to cock the multi shot version after each shot.

Shot tray, was a bit flimsy in plastic and only a buck fifty to do in alloy.

Just the little things.

Made about 4 bucks difference in the price, but will save a bunch in mods later.

Give us about 3-4 weeks on the HPA mod and we will save you some money there too.

Can't wait to see what you guys build these into.

They are very well built.

I have been playing a bit with the trigger to find the proper adjustment screw.

The trigger, has a long pull from the factory and they did drill them for an adjustment screw to adjust the sear engagement.

They just left out the screw. Wah wah wah

Anyway, the screw, is a 3mm standard set screw, 5mm long.

I just ordered a couple hundred and will have them available for any who would like one.

To make it quick and easy (and cheap) any who would like and don't have local access to these fasteners, you can simply send us a self addressed stamped envelope and I will stick you one in there and head it back your way.

They are tiny, so any size envelope will do.

One of several ways to go about it, but just thought this would be easy for everyone (including us) and get these puppies dialed in with little to no expense.

Meanwhile, I will be working on a video, to show simple install and adjustment, for a light crisp trigger for under 50 cents.

Yes we do things a bit different, but always for better product support.

Mine showed up as well. I am pretty happy with it. There are a couple of light scratches on the barrel. Looks to me like the scratches may have been from installing the barrel (not from shipping). Hardly noticeable and frankly not a big deal to me. The finish is in otherwise perfect shape and I like the satin finish on the receiver. The muzzle break is a nice touch and the front and rear sights are very adjustable. Note that there does not appear to be a safety.
I did take a few shots with the single shot tray. The bolt likes to slide around after the hammer is cocked and will close on you if you point the barrel down to load a pellet. Everything functions perfectly with the magazine in place and is probably the way most will want to shoot this gun, so again, not a big deal.
Accuracy seemed pretty good with 8.44gr JSBs (mine's in .177), and I even managed to stack a few shots standing with a two-handed grip at about 10 yards. I did not notice any difference in accuracy between single and magazine fed shots. The magazines are really well made (I bought 1 extra). It was getting dark but I took about 40 shots and it seems like the CO2 cartridge is still going strong.
Pretty impressive little package for the price. Can't wait to get a string over the chrony and see what the numbers say about this gun. I definitely had a good time with it this evening!
