Gettin' tired of this 100 degree heat in Nebraska, heading out before dawn tomorrow to the mountains of Colorado. Should be at +8000ft before lunch. Bring my camera, binocs, and an ultra light spinning for trout. No itinerary, just go explore new country. 4-5 days in the mountains will cleanse the soul.

My brother-inlaw that lives in Fireside/Longmont said it's not much cooler there. At 8000ft might be different.
Oh and he on his way out here to go to Santa Cruz.

It's 57° here on the southeast shore of Flathead Lake BUT it's forecast to be back in the mid 90's next week.
