Any hunters in here in So Cal? ... Id like to get out and do some airgun hunting and would like some info from fellow hunters. Particularly about turkeys in the San Diego forest area. Ive been told by other local hunters that there are lots of turkeys in certain areas down there. But I would also like some input from my fellow airgunners. It would be awesome to come home in november with a nice big bird for my family.

Hey there so cal fellas. would love to do some type of an event in socal and round up fellow ag'rs, share stories, tell lies, check other guys rigs and have a generally good time..
I have a connection in no cal which is about an 8 hour drive but that's all in a days work for a weekend hunt you know? san diego is a tricky thing. birds are smart and know where to hang out to be off shootable land. up north you have your pick of the bunch.. auburn, ca is the place.
if there are other ag guys who want to help coordinate a get together please reply to this.

Tons of turkey in the San Diego area off Hwy 76 cross of Hwy 79. Was a paramedic out that way for 5 years and seemed like the turkeys were everywhere. Only issue is finding them on public land. Tons of private property and Indian reservations. If you can get a permission to hunt on private land it'd be almost a sure thing. Bodysurfer
