I do have a soft spot for Kimber 82 Super America's. 1 is a Hornet the other a 17K Hornet. Both have sent many coyotes to yodel heaven.

She sure does shoot.
Take a close look at the targets in the 4th pic.
The one on the right is a 5 shot group with only one pellet that went stray - still way under a dime.
The other bull is another 5 shot group that went through the same hole, repeatedly.
These were shot off sticks (bipod) while sitting on a bucket, FT Style at 21yds.

Is that early R7 made by BSF ?  I recall seeing an early R7 once before and it had the features of a Wischo 55 made by BSF.

No, it's a purebred Weihrauch made in (West) Germany at the time. My daughter has a very rare Beeman HW30M, it's the fancy deluxe model that preceded the R7 in the States. It's from the same era (1980), hers has the Monte Carlo cheekpiece but it lacks checkering. The bluing on it is phenomenal, it reminds me of British guns (it's that glossy). I'll post some pics in this thread next weekend since we're on the same subject matter (Old School R7's).
