I am trying to convert a 1377 over to a 1322 carbine. I ordered all the parts after a lot of reading on the forum and advise from another member. BUT when I got the long steel breech, the mounting screw sholes, or rather the screw hole in the opening of the breech, did not line up. The part I ordered was AS2250-025 and the placement of the holes is shown in the picture (steel breech on top) compared with the plastic breech I removed from the gun. I sent the part back to Crosman and they checked and assured me that I had gotten the part number I had ordered. I was referred to a local expert but he was not able to find any part numbers for what I wanted, only plastic breeches. So I wonder if anyone else has had this problem and if they knew what part number was needed.http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj72/oldnamvet/IMG_0013_zps50ccf3d5.jpg
I have several breeches with the old screw location. I find there are no issues with .22 pellets hanging up, but with .177 they hang up quite often, or at least make closing the bolt rough. I'd like to get one of the new breeches, but so far all I've been shipped were old ones. How can you know you are getting a new one? Is the part number different?

My 2260 Heritage had both holes though. Then I found out the hammer was hanging. Thanks to fellow forum members' I found out that to use the rear screw location you also need the slotted hammer.
