I'd like to acknowledge people who DO donate time and funds to the best air gun forum on the planet. i really don't understand this post at all. after the last few days of you saying how you wont donate... then this post poking fun at people who DO help the GTA out??? maybe its just me being stupid but please explain this post to me and the other members that care enough about the GTA to donate? are you just board and trying to pick fights or what??? like i said please enlighten all the rest of us......proud doner Bart

I hope the intent wasn't to be insulting, but instead only humorous.
Those who donate are doing their small part to keep GTA - a site that Gene and Bob both have spent an enormous amount of time, effort, and money creating and maintaining - running.
They just want to give a quick thanks for the donations, plus help remind others (yes, including me, it's coming after payday next week) that they can and should donate if they can.
Some sites make it even clearer, as shown by this little thing that comes up automatically on all the posts put up by those of us who have donated to the Pink Floyd site "Yeeshkul! -
Nothing wrong at all with a little gratitude.
The world would be a better place if more people were gracious and courteous.

Whether you are attempting to be funny or not, I take your post as a slap in the face to Bob and Gene, and also to the many people who HAVE contributed to the GTA.

Oh jees guys it was a joke. Lighten up a bit. The Christmas season must be in full swing.

To tell you the truth I never even read any of the acknowledgements. I was just remarking at the number of them. Didn't even know what they were. Don't even know who posted them. You see I don keep track of who does what. Maybe that is my fault. I don't "keep score" like some people seem to.

Why do people take this stuff sooooooooo seriously? My God lighten up already.

And if you can't handle the stuff I put in the "103" post, you need to really lighten up. I said in there numerous times it was of no reflection to THIS site. It was all about other sites and what I had seen go on.

Gentlemen , We will  refrain from derogatory comments.The Donation list is at the top of the page so there is no need for a gate for it. As far as who gives what, that is a voluntary option open to each individual and will not be held against you whether you give or not. Thanks  David

You used that tired diatribe to inform us that was the reason you would not donate to the GTA. Then you say it has no reflection on this site. Who do you think you're kidding? The fact that you mentioned it coupled with the fact that you refuse to support the forum in the least little way is proof positive that you're afraid it can happen here. We are serious about the wonderful family that has been created for us, and most of us are more than willing to do whatever it takes to insure it's continued success without it breaking the backs of its creators.
And you want us to lighten up?
