My pleasure, Chris.OK, let's have a look... The sight just slides in, and is held by the side plate. That screw is part of the elevation adjustment. You might try resetting the elevation before sliding it all in, that screw has a indexing slot to keep it positioned as it is adjusted.Check the pic against your gun, and holler if that doesn't help make sense of it.
Alright guys. I figured it out. I'm going to post this here in hopes to help other people with the same problem. The bad indexing was the spring inside the receiver-to-clip transfer port. The spring pushes out the port so it seals better with the clip holes. When I disassembled the gun, that spring must have fallen on the ground. I found it yesterday and couldn't figure out where it went. Once I did figure it out, the indexing problem went away. The indexing part pushes the clip about 1/8 inch past correct alignment with the hole. The spring loaded transfer port brings the clip back to perfect alignment.
You guys are sure gonna make things easier for me when I rip INTO this thing Thanks for that!!! I finally got a red dot and I'm making the final cuts and welds for the stock to fit snug. The PUG should be accurate by this weekend
Went with anthracite at about 60% gloss. The double action is now glass smooth... single feels slick, and is noticeably faster. I really like this stuff!
Nice job Eric! You are certainly making some progress with this fun little gun! I mounted the red dot on mine, as well as a laser and flashlight...last night I got it to the point where I was hitting every beer can I pointed it at up to 10 yards. I finally feel like its ready to be unveiled. I'll get on that after work tonight;)
Thanks, guys! I'm quite happy with the function now... feels good and tight.I want to try .22, but can't find any of the old 6 shot clips to convert. Any ideas where I should look?
