Is there a piston class in the end of Aug tournament?

OK.. Just looked on reg form.. Says piston class.. I'm making arrangements to be there.. Trying to wrangle up, not one, but two new shooters!

Overall trophies will be class-less.

We had a West Coast piston championship earlier in the year with overall trophies.

For the 2016 Western States match, piston specific classes and awards are limited to AAFTA classes if at least three in a class. Hunter/Piston is the best bet to have at least three competitors.

Any piston class with less than three will be consolidated with the PCP shooters in the corresponding AAFTA Division.

This is an AAFTA Grand Prix Match and Crosman series points match.

Walk ins are welcome but AAFTA class awards will be based on registered competitors by August 1st, 2016. Everyone (including Freestyle) competes for the overall 1st through 5th awards.

Saturday after the field target match, and after lunch, there will be a staged air rifle silhouette match. Start times for competitors will run from about 2pm to 5pm.

Sponsored by Thomas Rifles.

Trophies + cash prizes:
1st: trophy + $100
2nd: trophy + $75
3rd: trophy + $50

$5/person to enter.
NRA equipment rules (Exception: Competitors will be allowed to use their Field Target rifles with butthooks, but no shooting jackets)

Each five shots banks are timed. 15 seconds to load and 2:30 to shoot a bank of 5 targets. There will be 40 shots total per competitor. It will take about 1/2 hour for a shooter to work through the stages.

First stage - 1/10 scale chickens at 20 yards. 2 banks of 5 each. 10 shots.
Second stage - 1/10 scale pigs at 30 yards. 2 banks of 5 each. 10 shots.
Third stage - 1/10 scale turkeys at 36 yards. 2 banks of 5 each. 10 shots.
Forth stage - 1/10 scale rams at 45 yards. 2 banks of 5 each. 10 shots.

The silhouette shoot will be at the West end of the sight-in range.

As of 08/13/2016, the Morro Bay forecast for next weekend is typical:

Mid 50's at night.

Saturday, 8am to 2pm: Clear morning and all afternoon. Low 56F, high 68F. Wind = 4-10mph
Sunday, 8am to 2pm: overcast morning, clearing by afternoon. Low 56F, high 68F. Wind = 4-11mph

The range is inland a few miles and will be a few degrees warmer during the day.
