I want you guys to know that I greatley appreciate the comments and prayers this for sure has been a year I will not forget. It humbles me to think that the members here kinda like me I quess sometimes i feel like the bad guy being a moderator on here but it is one of those things that I was honored to even be asked, As most of you know i suffered 2 strokes this past year, I went most of my life and nothing was ever wrong with me but boy when it started going wrong it all went wrong. I am thankful that the strokes only left me with a tremor in my right hand and a speech impairment but I am still fully mobile I just have to shoot between the shakes, kinda time it I quess. This last ailment of mine is called diviticulitis along with a kidney stone, now I have never had a kidney stone guys but beleive me I do not want another , I have been shot cut blowed up cussed out and several other things in my life but this kidney stone is rated at the top of my hurt list, especially when the Dr. comes in with a rubber hose and tells you he is going to put it some where you would never even think about if you get my drift not like you already think you are about to die but for sure they are about to kill you now. Again I THANK ALL THE MEMBERS ON HERE FOR JUST PUTTING UP WITH ME AND I LOVE YOU ALL . thanks David

Dave,
Hand shake ? Heck, a cup of coffee can do that.
Glad to see your back and that's all that's left from the strokes!
My father was hospialized a couple of times with diviticulitis. Realy painful!!!!! And my brother-in-law recently went through not being able to pass a kidney stone. He tried to discribe his experiances, but I had to stop him half way through !!!!
Another prayer sent that you never have to go through that stuff again.

Dave:
Good to hear you are on the mend. The kidney stone thing is called "nephrolithiasis". The pain is called "renal colic" and usually comes when the stone is on the move south from the kidney toward the bladder. Glad to hear that the stone apparently passed and you are recovering.

David...I've had a half-dozen kidney stones and I know exactly what you're going through. Like you, compaired to explosives, shot, shell and all the other stuff I think those stones were the worst. The best thing about 'em is , when they pass, you're through with 'em...and brother, I DO know the bit about the doc and the rubber hose! Good luck to you..wish you a speedy recovery and back here full time.

Keep doing what the doctors and your great wife tell you to do.
I know someone who had diverticulitis, and I was fully educated about what it is, and yes, it is very painful.
Both of my folks have had kidney stones, and I know those are extremely painful.
It's been said that they are the closest a man can possibly come to the agony of childbirth.
You've had a rough go with two exceptionally painful conditions.
You're a better man than I for staying cheerful through all that.
Get better, big guy!
