Walther Talon Gas piston

I have a Talon .22 with a gas spring from PA it used to shoot hard but just run it across my chrony and is only hitting about 450fps. New here looking  where to start. Also this thing has the worst trigger EVER!!! any thoughts on a fix for that.

I'd bet your seal is toasted.

Yup seal probably toast or your ram has lost power. How long have you had it? Is there any warranty on it? You could contact Hatsan USA or Pyramyd Air about repairs if you don't want to DYI. If not, you can order another ram from Crosman and a seal from Maccari and fix yourself. You could also polish up the trigger parts and that may help some.

Thanks! Kind of what I was thinking. It's probably 3yrs old, it still cocks hard and jumps hard when I shot just no speed.

If it shoots real harsh it is the seal .Whats the shot cycle like when you shoot?Is it lame feeling or rough?

Taking it a part? You can do it without a compressor as there's not much preload on the NP.
Putting it back together? You'll need to compress the NP roughly 1/2 to 3/4 inch depending on preload.
I used the scissor jack from my Dakota and my Stake bed truck as the brace to compress against.
 

CDT's info in the library section is what I followed.

The trigger on mine I did a light polish and used the good moly stuff.
I also found out a 45 degree pull on the trigger did wonders.

It shoots the same as it always has, if I would not have just bought my son a Gamo Bone Collector and run them both across the chrony would not have even known there was a problem 450 vs Gamo at 680FPS. I'm thinking I run it across the Chrony when I first got it and it was around 750ish.

If you've got the same recoil as it always had? It's the seal. They do wear out and are not that bad to replace if you're a tinkerer.
You could also send it to a good tuner should you not want to do it yourself.

Look for any info on the Hatsan 125 and it's good for your AG.

That dang thing flies over my house all the time and drives my dog crazy. I may be interested in that seal!

I travel alot through your area and have a huge fasination with the Blimps.
Even got to see one going into land a few times up there. I also did a K-Ship for a very popular Game a few years ago.

To most? It's just a thing that flies over football games and gets good pictures.
Knowing the real history? I get a big thrill everytime I see one aloft!

Let me ask this question. What happened to the L-8 after it was recovered?
