AHHHHH the ignorance of youth! I remember back in the day putting penn reel lube in one of my guns. Then about 3 days later completely rebuilding it. New seals, clean, bebur, clean again, lube then reassemble. My frist tune. The gun was all new again. Come to think of it that was my Hunter when it was a Nitro piston. I wonder if thats why the NP started to act irractic. I was doing it to increase velocity. Had 8.4 gr JSB's cooking over 1100 fps. But cost me the internals of the gun. I thought it was sealing better, didnt realize it was actually causing an explosin in the chamber. Not worth it.
