I bought this new myself in 1978 and just recently replaced the piston seal and put a new sporter stock on it, I have since went to PCP and thinking about selling this FWB124 in 177cal. I have no idea what it is worth, what are they going for now?

I remember reading a story about this rifle back in the late 1970's or early 1980's. Seems this town was having pigeon poop problems on the town buildings and this fellow with the Feinwerkbeu 124 in .177 ''cleaned up'' the town.    That story stuck in my head for all these years, from that day on I had to have a high powered springer!

I wouldn't sell it, unless I needed the money really bad.  Comments over the years seem to suggest that people regret letting them go.  They are a piece of AG history gone by (is there any other kind?).

Then again, you could make someone very happy.  I'm not sure if the after market stock makes it worth more or less.  You need to find the right buyer since they don't come up for sale often.  Ballpark SWAG $400-$600 (I know, big park).  Depends how bad somebody wants it.  Good luck.

Agree, unless needing the money, FWB 124's are one of those rifles YOU KEEP !!

well after much thought I decided to sell the gun, it is listed on GunBroker if anyone is interested. I hardly ever shoot it anymore and I need the funds for my PCPs.

Any chance that you still have the original stock?  If it is a "D" and not a "Sport", I would very much like to discuss the possibility of buying it from you.  Somebody broke the stock on mine and won't admit to it and while I repaired it, I wouldn't mind another stock stock (is there an echo in here?  ...in here?).

your out of luck, its the sport stock, when I bought the gun they was wanting 165.00 extra for the Deluxe stock and I could not afford it at the time so I went with the sport stock. I still have the sport stock if you want it.

I'll pass on the Sport stock.  Good luck on your auction, somebody is going to be very happy to get a nice 124.
