your barrel shouldn't turn as the transfer port is holding it in alignment. also if you have a metal breech there will be one or two set screws for the barrel.

What is the hole for in the front of that Blue Fork barrel band? I've noticed that on a few different types and now that I have a 2289 I still can't see why it's there on some bands/plugs.

The hole on the front of the Blue Fork barrel band is actually an orifice to access a set screw that securely locks their included pump pin in place. There is also another set screw, easily accessible from below the barrel band that locks the barrel in place as well.

If I'm not mistaken, I think (?) it's to tighten/loosen a set screw that "locks" the pin in place.

My 13xxs are humble but accurate and decently fast both now have the bugout grip and the PC77 has an 18" barrel and home made front

peep. 

 I mocked up my 1325XLT project as a  1377XLT for inspiration.


Two more steel breeches within/after a few months, I am concentrating on getting my project shooting first.

Currently (for about 20 years)  I live about 6 or so mile from where the Wenatchee empties into the Columbia...

I spent a few years at  Ft. Lewis  late 70s early 80s  and lived in Tillicum right by American Lake for a few years while going to college.

Spent more than a couple years pulling a 40 and a 20 all over the state.

Heck once  I got to put  a set of doubles on the Port Townsend ferry.

This is when I got it back from Roy. The only thing I changed is it has the metal barrelband from Chavka in black installed.



 And here is when I first sited it in with JSB RS Exacts. I have found the RWS Superdomes group even a little better

Reviving this thread. I just got back into Air Guns (at 49) and dug this old pumper out.

It's one of the original 1389's. I lost the stock so when I put the order in to Crosman I got both a 24" barrel and the 1399 Stock.

Here it is in original state:

Here is is after the 24" barrel, shoulder stock and a $19 scope from ebay

Thanks - I picked up a used Webley Vulcan from a guy in Towson just to shoot with my son (has a Big Cat). Now I got my old guns out, bought 3 Beeman P17's and am looking at getting a 2400Kt from the custom shop, and eventually get a HiPAc for it.

I am looking to get it with the HiPac so that I can switch back and forth. Is there any other HPA system that you can easily switch back and forth?
