Curious what guys with the TX are seeing for muzzle velocity? Like wise, curious as to what you guys are generating for velocity and what your 97's shooting with the .20's?

You should, that might help influence your decision between the two rifles. The best way to really make up your mind is shoot both. Find both rifles through some GTA members near you and try them out. A lot of us aren't biased here, as you can see several people have both guns and enjoy using them

Care to point me in the right direction?Curious what work was done to generate those figures? Pretty serious energy. Would love that in .22!!!
I actually own both and my 97K is actually in .20. The FTS shoot at 802 fps (tuned gun) and i have it set up for HFT in days that are too windy to shoot the tx on. The TX is shooting 8.44 jsb at 850 (detuned) but it is PCP accurate... out to 30 yards the TX is surgical... but pushing metal spinners out to 75 yards the TX is pitiful compared to a .20 cal smacking the &^^& out of those metal discs... and for hunting... the HW is a serious plague on our crow population. Love them both...

I was pretty well set on the TX but love the .20 option for the HW and see posts like this so regularly.Just can't decide! For the OP - great to hear your getting along so well with the new rifle. Really beautiful firearm and should serve you very well long term. I see you have quite the collection. Its going to be hard to decide what comes out of the safe!It really depends on what you're going to use it for. If you're going to be doing serious FT, then go with the TX. Build quality, the Air Arms has the upper hand as well but to each their own. I don't own an HW underlever but I do have several other Weihrauchs and they can't touch the Brit guns for their build quality. The .20 caliber is nice, but I prefer something more powerful than either of these two underlevers to propel that size pellet. Most FT shooters use .177 for the flatter trajectory and some of the smaller target zones. Like I said, everyone has an opinion but we'll gladly spend your money for you We're really good enablers here!I say buy both!!

The AA nor any other Brit brand has nothing on Weihrauch (nor Diana etc.) or any German gun manufacturer in that regard. The TX200 sure looks good and shoots well but it being a better quality than an HW97- donīt think so... JMHO in this matter.

The build quality ,in my book, isnīt measured by the look of the stock nor the deepness/hue of the blueing. That would be the quality of finish and looks. When i say build quality i mean the quality of the parts & craftmanship (tolerances, how well everything fits together) and how things hold up in the long run. The AA nor any other Brit brand has nothing on Weihrauch (nor Diana etc.) or any German gun manufacturer in that regard. I OWN a 34 now, sorry but with my very limited experience, the Diana's are not on the same quality level with the AA's. not knocking the Diana's at all, just stating my very humble opinion. And the wood and bluing definitely contributes to the build quality of a gun
