Wasn't a kill, but still pretty unusual... I have a pear tree in my yard, and I like to gather unripened pears that have fallen to use for target practice. One morning I head outside to do some shooting, and take a shot at a pear from 20 yards. I walk up to inspect the pear, and low and behold, I shot the wings off of a fly that must have landed on it right before I fired. There it was, a wingless fly crawling around just fine aside from the missing wings. Total fluke. I felt like I was in the film "Wanted"!
Wanted was a really great picture.....wish i had those gun skills
got a 15lb carp in the headWe were fishing and frog hunting with my CondorI tossed a bag of popcorn over board and watched the fish getting themI kept seeing a big ring when this one kept hitting water surface around 20 yards outI told my brother watch I will shoot this fishHe laughed I saw a ring and POP next thing I know a carp floats up with a hole through upper lip and headLOL never thought I would actually hit the fish . figured I would screw around deff a fun time hahaha
As a teenager a friend and I got an alligator gar with our pellet guns. He was using a Crosman 1077 and I had a Benji 397. Don't know what he weighed, but he was about as long as my arm from shoulder to finger tip. Without going into too much detail, needless to say a lot of shots were fired and the animal suffered pretty bad. We did manage to recover it- and still discarded it anway. Pretty sad too, tried to act tough but on the inside I knew it was wrong and it made me sick. Worst part about it, is that's legal- cause it was a gar =(

Years back I was doing some cross training at FT. Sill OK, and during the summer months just as it started to cool down you could position yourself along the tank trails next to a water source and watch hundreds of tarantulas make their way across the road to the water. We would sit in the back of a pickup and pop them with a variety of air rifles purchased from the local Wally World. Those SOB's where MEAN, you get too close and they would jump at you and chase you, and these aren't small we're talking 3.5 - 4 inches across.
a beer can. what made it unusual was that it was a full beer, and i usually drink beer, not shoot it! lol
This summer, I saw the first & only grey squirrel in my entire life. But, I didn't shoot it, and let it go about its day, since it was rare for me. It was light grey with a pure white belly.
Alligator gar, brother. The fish, not the lizard
