Most unusal Kill with your air rifle?

Now i know most of you guys probably kill squirrels, c-rats, birds ,iguanas and other types of game, but whats your most unusual kill? Mines or in fact would be my girl friends bird head shot with our FX Air Gladiator MK2... we were by my pals chicken farm and he was telling us of the bird harassing his chickens.Now Kimberly aint the best shot, but a 20 yards moving target among chickens....was either skill or luck...(I say luck, but when she tells it, sounds like she a zen master)....I unfortunately got a chicken in the head in which my pal told me i was killing his profits...

grasshopper at 17 yards. it was one of those days where you see nothing and youre frustrated.

A large fly.  My friends and I had just finished shooting down all the spent shotgun shells at 50 yards.  The shooting haven't stopped so we went back to our paper targets.  I noticed a single hole away from my cluster of holes at the 30 yard target.  Looking through the scope I see a fly....I thought what the heck I'll give it a shot (Pun intended).  Shot but don't know if I got it.  Awhile later we went to check our targets and I see 3 fly legs around the hole.  Got that fly!!!  ha ha

I had read someone here shot wasps or bees in mid-air with their airgun.

Forgot to mention....it was a bench rested shot.

1377 and 1322 taking out Carpenter Bees mid flight. Really impressed my son when I went 3 for 3 right off the bat.

Squirrel...with my Dragon Slayer. He won't be waking me up any more while I deer hunt.

A tortoise. 

She was my pet actually. One of my dogs got a hold of her and chewed half of her plastron. My .22 Whisper was the most powerful weapon I had that I could put her out of her misery with quietly in my back yard.

Seriously, my most unusual kill was a Bumblebee in flight, no kidding. Let me explain.

My 13 year old grandson was visiting and we were plinking in the backyard. He was using his .22 Nitro Venom and I was shooting my .22 Hatsan 125 TH. Naturally, he got competitive and challenged me. There were some Bumblebees flying around. So, I said "beat this" and snapped the rifle up and fired in the direction of the bees, about 15 ft away. To my surprise, I hit one of them ( totally by accident ). For the next half-hour, he kept trying to hit a Bumblebee and it was hilarious to watch.

Don't mess with Grandpa !

I too get that ADDH  thing when plinking paper,carpenter bees,bumblebee,wasp you name it they all
fall into"target" fodder.Punching flies thru 1/8" plywood @ 10m is pretty entertaining,far from "easy"
but great for grouping practice

I read its a great way to home in your skills by shooting at insects, i tried it at times and it reguire a lotta concentration , its great that you have a healthy competition with your grandson, its keeps ya young at heart

Great story. You should have told him he kept missing because he had his tongue held in the wrong place. That's what my grandfather told me once.

If you never told him that was an accident then you know he went around bragging about how great of a shot his grandpa was. lol

Actually more my mother than me. When I was a kid (long ago and far away) some of the neighbors thought the best way to "walk" their dogs was to let them out so they could poop in other peoples yards.

When they showed up to do "business" in our yard my mother and I would shoot them in the arse with an old Daisy BB gun. It was too weak to penetrate as you could always see the bb bounce off, but it must have stung a LOT because they would go from walking to full out run in under a second, and almost always never came back.
