Not sure if this is in the correct forum, but, here goes....
Looking for opinions on the ideas for the "best" one-piece scope mount for my Crosman Quest 1000x and Gamo Big Cat 1200... I know this may come back to bite me in the butt; but, I am looking for an affordable (cheap) scope mount that will give the most "bang" for my buck. The Hawke mounts look really nice, but then so do the Leapers and the Gamo's.... HELP!
Need some guidance....

The Leapers mounts are said to be very good, although I have not bought one yet.
I instead have gone with a Sun Optics SM002 11mm to Weaver adapter and Leupold PRW rings on my gas ram CFX, and they work flawlessly, plus the scope no longer skids the way it did in my B-Square rings.

Oldpink,
Thanks for the quick reply! I checked it out and will definitely keep it in mind! Actually, that mount may solve my next question about changing mounts/rings and needing more eye relief..... This mount looks like it would have enough flexibility to take that into consideration, as well... Thanks for the head-up on this!
Bart,
I was seriously considering the mounts in that price range; but, wasn't sure on getting the eye relief after ring/mount changeover... PRICE is VERY attractive though!
Thanks gentlemen,
Dave T.

no worries dave! i have a bunch of the leapers 1 piece's and have never had a problem...remember let the locktite dry 24 hours! and use the blue stuff! if you use red you are gonna need to buy a cutoff wheel grinder!

I have this Leapers one piece mount on my Storm XT (Same as the Quest) and love it-
https://www.pyramydair.com/product/leapers-accushot-1-pc-mount-w-1-rings-high-11mm-dovetail?a=636
I had lots of slippage with the two piece rings that come with the gun. Slapped this one on with some loctite and its nice and solid. Great price too

Lochlainn,
Yeah, I've seen that one before... Matter of fact, that's the one that caused enough interest for me to consider going for the one-piece mount for my rifles. My only concern is if it will give me enough eye relief on my Quest 1000x using a Winchester 3~9x32mm airgun scope... I really liking Oldpinks suggestion with the Sun Optics rail; but, that means new rings too..... So many decisions, so little money!
Thanks guys! Truly appreciate all the input on this subject!!

Not the best but had no problem keeping scope on my G1 extreme, Sierra Pro & Beeman RS2. I'm not even using the scope stop pin.

I have Leapers one piece on two of my AG's (one being my .22 Big Cat) and have no issues at all. See my sig for more info.

Gents,
I gotta say this..... I ordered the Leapers Accushot one-piece mount last week, and received it today.... Honestly, I have to say I am impressed with the build on this mount... BEEFY, to say the least! Nice and solid! Gotta let the Loc-tite dry before I can check on groups... I'm gonna go on a limb and say I will definitely be ordering one each for the Gamo BG and the Titan GP!
Thanks for every ones input on this subject!!

accushot makes the best(in my opinion) one piece there is,you can get em in 2-5 screw bases, leapers is good as well, but truth be known, leapers bases are remakes of accushots legendary/dependable products.

Anyone used the centerpoint 1 piece? I am looking to order a sunshade, and saw the one piece mount was $5 or something cheap like that.

I think the Centerpoint is the same as the Leaper's. I haven't done a careful side by side but the one that just came with the NPSS appears the same as the several Accushots I have bought in the past. These mounts have worked really well for me, if I put the time into degreasing, mounting, and loc-titing. As I understand it, Centerpoint is just another brand for Leapers, and their products come from the same factories.

I used the GAMO 1 piece came with my whisper, blue lock tight and made sure the pin in the back was screwed a bit in the whole on the gun.

I like the Mag-Mount for its droop adjustability. IMHO far and away the best there is!
