pull the barrel and roll it across a flat smooth surface that you know is completely level.. if you notice any wobbling ur barrel is bent and odds are if it bent it bent at the breech
id assume its almost the same as a disco but idk since i dont own a mrod. im sure someone soon will post with how to remove the barrel
shoot lizzy a pm, she is the resident barrel straightner lol.. idk about all that but she straightened a barrel of hers and could give you a little better idea of what it entailsjim gaska at www.marmotmilitia.com sells drop in ready lw barrels for mrods, prods and soon the disco.. for a mrod its 185 and i think thats shipped, but the barrel is machined and ready to go.. while ur at it id get one thats an inch longer for a little more "free power"
the 670 barrels are going to take up more room in the shroud thus the shroud will be a little less effectiverstern has the math for a inch longer barrel i think ur looking at 25 to 50 fps increase, which means you can tune the rifle down a hair to use less air but give the same velocity you have nowif i had a mrod and didnt have to worry about noise id do away with the shroud and go for the polygon barrel, they just look so so so so sexy to me.. but for you id say stick with the 470 barrel. the .670 barrel is prolly more accurate because its thicker and thus flexes less when shot.. idk for sure tho just pulling logical reasons i can think of
