Hi Gents;
I am Hemn From Kurdistan Region of Iraq, my hobby is Hunting, Target practice & plinking.
I have Benjamin Marauder .22 cal, ordered from Pyramyd Air.
I have also 36" shotgun, but it is just for fun not for hunt, because I don't like hunt with shotguns,
I am accounts executive in an oil & gas Co. in Iraq.

I'm curious, what are the laws in your Country regarding shooting and hunting with airguns? What type of game is there to hunt with airguns? Do you have to go somewhere like a firing range to shoot or do you have enough room where you live?

Dear Nathan;

Actually I bought my Marauder for hunt, because hunting is my favorite hobby, we have wild Deer, Goat, a very little quantity of big horn ship, rabbit, Quail, Pheasant, Red legged partridge, there is a bird I really don't know what do you call it in English, it is a little bit smaller than Quail we call it(Qate), we have 2 kinds of Dove, federal pigeon, sparrow, starling in the winter, we have a very little quantity of wild duck & goose, also there are several kinds of small birds, in Kurdistan.
But now hunting is prohibited by our government, because of all kinds of birds' quantity goes down, so they prepare a special force for protecting our wild animals,even hunting with airguns is prohibited for unknown period.
We do not have any room for firing range or practice, it is a very long story & it is up to our national policies.

First, we should take care of our wild animals & then hunt them, if you hunt every kind of animal without noticing quantities, you will find yourself in a desert for hunt and nothing will be there to hunt, you will lose your wild animals.

Yep, wildlife and wilderness conservation are very important.

Welcome to GTA, and I have a question: are there any animals that are so abundant as to be classified as pests / no license required to hunt? If so, that's the animal that I would turn my attention to, ha ha.
