Benji Hole Plugs

Since I'm working on bling for my herd of Benjamin rifles, I really didn't like the uncovered screw holes on the foregrip.

I had to run to Lowe's a bit ago and found these while I was there.
Black nylon 1/2" hole pulgs $1.88 a pair.

Or chrome 1/2 hole plugs $1.88 each.

I like them both Dave,But I'd have to say I like the chrome look more . What department did you find the chrome in? Thank's for another idea . An one more thing are they very hard to remove?

Jay, you can find these in the fastener section where they have the nuts, bolts and screws. They are in the specialty items bins they have all along that isle. Just walk that isle looking at the bins and you will find them, or just ask the staff.
I've heard the plugs on the TF89 tend to pop off during firing. I don't think you will have that problem with these. The nylon ones took a lot of pressure and actually indented the center when I got them seated. But that made for a more recessed fit and a very solid fit. Both had to be pried out with my knife, so they fit very well.
I'll probably outfit all 3 of my Benjis with the chrome myself.

Maybe we can get them to carry gold plated ones to match the CDT triggers, anyone have a small engraving machine....You could offer custom engraved bolt covers! Scroll work, initials, slogans, slams, the possibilities are endless!

Kudos to JAY for his idea. He got me looking for a more suitable cap to cover my Benji screws. Well, I found the PERFECT item in my USAF crest buttons. Now proudly displayed on my XL1100 and soon to be appearing on my XL1500 & SS.
 


You can probably find Army, Marines, Coast Guard, & Navy buttons on eBay also. Measured 1/2" in size but hole had to be enlarged just slightly.
