Yeah I emailed Anna at Umarex. They want me to pay full price $112 shipped for another stock. I paid under $200 on sale for the whole gun with scope. This is clearly one of the bad batch of stocks that slipped through. This stock showed no signs of a problem and just fell in half. I hope the guys that are all running to buy new Hatsans see this and look at the Hatsan warranty and how the suppliers don't stand behind their product. This has not been a good experience.
I don't want to place blame on anyone. This is a like new gun and this should not have happened. It was not mistreated. It had to be a defect. It broke to easy hardly any pressure. You can't use junk on a magnum springer. It is a Hatsan 125 Branded Walther. Maybe Hatsan can do something. Joao and Scott both said they would try to do something. Hope they come through.
Anybody wanna place a "side bet" on what UMAREX will do?I say they will do NOTHING !Dave

Final update:Looks like my super glue repair worked. It is a solid repair I banged on the stock with my hands and it held. put the butt on my knee and pulled down on the forend and it held. will try it out for a while and see how it does. Putting on the 3 heavy duty elastic bands to hold the stock together must have pulled it tight enough to effect a permanent bond. Hey it works for me, I'm glad I have a spare coming. With 2 of these (22 & 25) can't go wrong having a spare stock. Can hardly see the repair either....must be the camo. Tacked down the shammy sound deadener that the tuner put in that started lifting. Will try to color it darker....don't like the yellowish orange. Will try some camo paint. Will stuff the stock with some foam fluffing. Done.
