I shot a 5 shot string at each level of the manufacturers recommended amount of pumps (3-8) over the F-1 chony today, using CPHPs, these are the results. This gun is broken in, with no mods whatsoever.

3 pumps- 463.2 fps average.
6.8 ft-lbs

4 pumps-514.9 fps avg
8.4 ft-lbs

5 pumps-563.5 fps avg
10.1 ft-lbs

6 pumps-593.8 fps avg
11.2 ft-lbs

7 pumps-624.8 fps avg
12.4 ft-lbs

8 pumps-648.4 fps avg
13.4 ft-lbs

I did not record high/lows, and extreme spread, but I can tell you, all the pump levels did not differentiate out side of 10 fps.

As you can see, past 5 pumps, each additional pump only adds about 1 ft-lb to the energy being produced. Surprisingly, 3 pumps gave us almost 7 ft-lbs, enough to take small game humanely out to about 20 yards. At the full 8 pumps, you can expect to take small game out to 50 yards, IF you can hit the killzone everytime that is.

Sounds great! Wish I had one! I would just use 3 pumps to clear the feeders. haha

Its also gets harder to pump after 3 pumps, the first 3 are all the same it seems, and with only 6.8 fpe in .22 cal, pass through is bound to not happen.

Looks great Nate, those are really good numbers. If you can hold your own in the accuracy department you will have the small game running for their lives

All i need is a rear sight that doesnt not so good like the stock one, looks like ill be dropping another $35 for a williams before i can get the Mrod

Your number are almost the same as mine. I,m very lucky mine like the daisy wadcutter best so it,s super cheap to shoot. Here,s my numbers with daisy wadcutter 14 or 14.3 gr 3 =485 4=538 5=580 6=623 8=670. I plink with 3 or 4 pumps very accurate with peep . Not bad for a 99.00 refub from r&l supply

of course all those numbers change if you send it to mac1 for a steroid upgrade with . tho the stock gun is nice with my steroids i hit a tomato paste can dead center at 71 yds with 11 pumps , more often than not it will jar the can and it rolls down the hill

I love mine.
Its a 392PA with full billet/steroid treatment from Mac-1.
Scoped.
I CAN plink with low pumps, but my setup is really for 35yds and over, scope wise.
The gun will dump 13 pumps....I can get a little more power by going to 15, but since it won't dump it all, its not worth it to me to pump the extra 2.
Getting this thing to 13 is nothing, pumps very smooth.
I need to chrony it with Kodiaks, to see what it is putting out.

I would like to do a cocking knob, or some other configuration with the bolt, the bolt's are a little cheezy.
And I will buy an aftermarket sear....AoA sells these.

Would also like to get a thumbhole stock for it.

I am thinking the last time I chronied mine, it is doing 22 ftlbs not bad for a little gun like this.

i have a cocking nob, on mine its scope friendly , i thought your not supposed to pump it more than 14 times? over that supposed to lose velocity and damage valve

The front sight is brass, so you can file it down easily, and then re-paint it, but then still stands the large aperture problem.

Sorry guys, just got back to this thread.....

RE: pumps.....hmmmm 14, you might be right. I thought it was 15 on the Roids, will have to check my pprwork. I keep it well lubed with secret sauce, so the one extra wont kill it. Mine is also the billet version.

Greg, I will get back to you in a couple days.......a couple of public questions......
Your bolt, what is it made from?
Are you also the maker of that FANTASTIC looking breech cover?
How does that sucker go on, remove the bolt and slide over? Fastens to what, the screw holes?
That breech would get my cheek weld back down to normal, almost.
