I was just wondering if anyone has a Diana 300R airgun. This is the 7 shot repeater. It shoots 14.2 gr.pellets over the chrony at 700 f.p.s. I have had mine for 7 years and only shot 10 mags out of it. Have never seen another one around. Just curious.
George.

They are a bit on the scarce side. Was Diana's attempt to get into the repeating springer market. They are a very nice gun but are also prone to feeding malfunctions. If you don't keep count of your shots, you can easily dry fire one. The main glitch in the design seems to be the rod which pushes the pellet into the breech upon cocking. I've seen where, if it doesn't line up properly, the tip can be damaged and sort of lock up the magazine. 300R owners can comment more on this and there are several good posts out there. Great gun but you have to be precise with your loading. Not for the easily distracted, such as myself.

Have one in .177 purchased ANIB about a year ago and have fired a little over 500 shots with it. Nice airgun but a bit of a hassle as I have to keep track of shots fired so as not to dry-fire it. No problems at all, but almost new. Go ahead and enjoy it, nice looking, nice firing airgun.

I see them for sale every now and again. Never owned one. I personally would rather own a BSA Goldstar
