Gamo Rocket??

Hey guys just wondering has anyone tried the Gamo Rocket pellets? I had been getting pretty good groups at 25yds with them. Although I am finding some of these guys are to big to fit in my rifle. I think quality control  is an issue!!! However I bought these for some close range hunting. Anyone ever tried any and had any luck with using them?

I have them, and they do fairly well on paper, but I still have lots of other pellets that best its accuracy levels by at least double, so I don't bother with them.
They're more of a novelty pellet than anything else in my opinion.
They're also not the best choice for shooting at hard targets, since the tiny BB can come right back at you.

Just what Oldpink said. I shot a tin back when they first came out. None of my guns really like them that well.

Ya guys im finding that i need to just stick to the CPHP's and the Predators. The Predators are killing the wallet tho goodness!

i have a bunch of them i got in a package deal probably 8 tins or so. the gent i got them from had every pellet labeled for every gun. they shoot in the summit i got out to the 25 yds i tested it at very well! he told me when i bought it that it was the only pellet that gun shot well... he was right, they dont work well in anything else, but that particular gun loves them

They work ok in my Phantom but I need to shoot more with them.  Still don't think they will outdo the 'cudas.

They're not too accurate in any of my air rifles....haven't tried them in my air pistols.  But have to admit...that copper/steel bb in front of the pellet really hits hard.

I have a couple of rifles that really like them and they've performed very well on small game for me.  I found they worked extremely well on those tough skinned nutter.  Every nutter I hit with them (head shots) just fell over dead.
