I have the HW30S and love it. I bought mine based on how much daveshoot liked the R7.
It's fun and easy to shoot.

Is it true that the hw30s is now being shipped (as of this month) with R7 style stocks? This will eliminate the R7 and the cost differential.

Yup, R7 is a very sweet little gun.  Almost sold mine but decided to keep it and re-scope it...It's accurate and as fun as ever to shoot...Record trigger doesn't need much,.    I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a light little, accurate gun...This is one of those guns you just keep...I think I like it more now then when I got it about ten  years ago!  A solid, all steel gun that's proven itself to many...
