Main part of the valve done. In essence a new "top hat" to be brazed in.
Going to "sweat" it in place.

No bueno. This one´s no doubt on me, but that being said i never took to how little material there was inwards - vs the poppet.
No matter. What´s done is done, just need to get a handle on it.
So.



Yeah. This one´ll sport ONE exhaust port, i can tell ya that much! The new "top hat" part of it is recessed somewhat down into the main body of the valve housing and i´ll use silver solder to "sweat" the two parts together.
That´ll suffice and then some.
Just need to go replace by acetylene bottle come tomorrow..   

Ditto. Repairing the HS adjuster, piece of cake. What worries me a bit tho is the sear, to replace that, as i have no idea what so ever what it looks like and what measurements it carries.
We´ll handle that as we get there though

Also machined a valve housing and valve.
Made my valve stem 3mm
did not use an oring anymore.
