I had one for a while, the shot to shot consistency was not great. After examining the valve I saw that the top hat stem had free play in the brass guide, this meant that the valve did not open and close exactly the same every time. I made a new top hat stem that fit the guide exactly, this fixed the inconsistency. Also making a new poppet with a small metering lip, helped the consistency and improved the shot count, without a big loss in velocity. Also the metering lip eliminated bottle dump.

Timing is everything!
I just started researching the Condor (again) to compliment my Texan.
Thinking a .22 instead of the .25 as I have a plethora of .22 pellets / slugs and a mold to cast more... but zero .25's.
And my .20 pellets are very desirable, reserved for those "specialy" guns.

Here is my Talon P.
It came to me as a 22, I added a .25 18” barrel. 25.34 at 900 fps. I haven’t had it in the field yet.
I have the JTS sampler, but getting the heavier 30 and 34s up to speed, it ends up wasting a lot of air.
I really like this thing. I want another, a Talon SS maybe.
