Well...traffic has been slow but the the last few days I have seen a couple rats, a female and a large male but they have been skittish so no shot opportunities until tonight. I had set up and at 9pm this one triggered the wireless doorcams push notification so I quickly grabbed the pre-loaded Notos, turned on the red LED flashlight, cocked it, placed it on the tripods y-yoke and yup still there facing me at a slight angle eating the stations peanut butter so I placed the center dot between it's right eye and ear and slowly pulled the trigger....thwack....down it went tail twitching for a few seconds, a large juvenile or young adult female.

Hey Randall, I missed this post!  Was at our daughter's for Mother's Day.  Great shot on that rat!  Good to see your traffic is starting to pick up for you.  Mine is starting to slow again.  I just got the Flash-R dialed in after recrowning and polishing the barrel.  Now I'm ready to do some long range mouse hunting!  I hope those rats keep coming for you!

James! Thank you so much! And, yes....the crunchy peanut butter is one of the main reasons I get a chance at them, the wireless doorcam helps too....😂🙏

Excellent shooting with your Notos Randall!  I hope it picks up for you soon but at least you know there is 1 more out there.

I still haven't spotted a Groundhog this Spring anywhere on my block which is very unusual.  I guess I did too good of a job taking them out the past 25 years.
