Niksan Air Rifles ALL under $400

I have always wanted a nice wood stocked bullpup from a quality manufacturer such as Air Arms, DayState, Edgun, or Kalibrgun but didn't want to spend that much cash. The Elf W showed up today and I am very pleased with the everything about the gun, fit and finish, quality, and looks. Can't wait to get the air fill setup and do some shooting. There are 4 1/8 inch or so wood chips on the lower front side of the hand grip but nothing I'm too worried about at this price point. The way it sits in the case, it could have easily been damaged in shipping. I love it.

My Ozark loves heavy pellets.
I've been firing JTS 25.39gr and Apolo Monster 25.4gr pellets (full power)
But it also did well with the H&N Barracuda Match 21gr (full power) and Norma Precision FT 15.9gr (mid power)
The Niksan (at least mine) seem rather indifferent to pellet weight.
Given the tube size & pressure on the Bullpup you may want to start out lighter pellets with the power at a lower setting.

I bought the Niksan Ozark-TS (synthetic stock) and I regret it now.

The trigger is not adjustable, and the pull weight is too heavy (estimate about 4bs).
I have not seen a non-adjustable trigger in a $400 PCP or even a $200 PCP.

The shroud is not working, since there is no air getting in, basically is just making the barrel look thicker.
The hammer spring adjustment (deep inside the airgun) does not do much.

This lack of basic adjustments means that you cannot tune it well.

The stock feels a little plasticky.
The stock on the Crosman 362 multipump feels better for instance.

And to think that these Niksan PCPs were $500+ last year.

The Umnarex Zelos which can be bought for around $420-$430 is so much much better than this $365 Niksan Ozark.

But hey, the Ozark comes with 4 magazines, maybe because you cannnot buy them anywhere.
