The Reason this problem is happening,
«

is a good reason to start this thread here.I posted this today on the PCP gate, but thought after it may be best suited to be moved here.
The more I think about this problem some is having, the more my curiosity grows.
What's causing this,(Rather than if we have the problem) why is the rifle misfiring when the Safety is released? Pushing the safety off on an Airforce rifle is only moving the baulk lever forward. Is this happening because the spring on the Seer is too far back,in turn causing this problem? The design is pretty Simple, and unless the spring on the seer is actually too far back ,I just don't understand why it's making the gun go off unexpectedly.
What am I missing here? Is there that much play in the trigger assembly itself on certain guns,(that the spring is putting pressure on the rear of the see,and then in turn causing the hammer to release, causing the Misfire?
We all talk about this problem all the time, but with all the Great Minds we have here,(and I'm talking about some of the Best),like Lloyd,Bob,Gene,Tim/ aka Mac1,we should be able to figure this thing out.
Too me it makes no sense how the pushing the safety off causes the levers tilt, and then the gun to Misfire.
I have faith that there has to be a way to Fix this problem,as it seems it's too simple a platform to have something like this happening.
Give us your thought's and I'm posting a picture below of the,Before and After trigger assemblies to help fuel the conversation.
Thanks
Condor/Talon Early Trigger Assembly in the first picture, and then 2nd, most recent Trigger Assembly.

i dont know enough about this stuff to really comment on how it should be setup but comparing the condor safety to other safetys. it would seem the best place i guess would be to have the safety engaging the actual trigger and not the sear..

It probably would have been a better idea if they had of used a Crossbolt style Safety,,but they chose this type and I think the members here may just be the ones to see what's causing this.
At least it's worth a try.
Thanks.

not to get off topic or hijack this but have you removed the trigger cover (if there is one, never seen a trigger setup on a condor) and operated the safety to see exatly what is going on ? could be the best place to start looking for a diy fix or something.. i want a condor and will own one, one day.. so im following this thread

Here's what I think first is the trigger adjustable? if so you have it adjusted to light! if not the case you have a week spring in there some where and I say this because I do allot of trigger work and I know on a spring gun if the spring tention is to light it will not hold pressure for any length of time or if it has an adjustment on it that's causing to much pressure on a lever will cause the samething and the rifle will shoot on its own for example if you adjust a rekord trigger to light as soon as you release the safty it will fire and the cause is to spring pressure to much one way put reverse pressure on the other sears and therefore causing it to be unsafe and un predictable!

Airforce triggers are Not adjustable. You can only adjust the shoe,,not the actually pull. It's a pretty simple design,,and that's what's got me so curious as to why they Misfire. No comparison to the triggers we're all used to.
I don't have any problems with mine.I am just curious as to why the older ones are misfiring and the new ones aren't.
Thanks.
