Camoed a couple guns

Update on the Drifter. Yesterday morning I installed an aluminum breech I bought off the big river. The hole for the barrel was oversized.  I shimmed it with a piece of paper, added a Williams peep sight,  I'm calling it done.

Thank you. But I have to say, I would NOT recommend one of these breeches to anyone.  The hole for the barrel is oversize, I had shim it with paper,  and the bolt raceway is sloppy.  I'm going to sleeve it with brass tube from the hobby shop

In order to satisfy my tinkering urges and cover up the carbon fiber wrap on my Drifter, plus give my 2240 carbine some personality of its own, I camoed the stocks and muzzle thingies. On the Drifter I changed the forend to an earlier style from @mudbudmitch because it fits my hands better over a long stretch of shooting.  Thanks again,  Mitch, hope you like it!

Thanks.  I'm not a big fan of camo stuff in general, but I do like the  kind that people do themselves, I appreciate creativity. And I absolutely hate carbon fiber,  I've worked with it at work and hope I never do again. And, it was fun to do,  so it worked out fine
I think David's came out great,  very unique

went to school for composites, fiberglass , carbon fiber kevlar... I hate working with any pre preg material

I had the build in my mind for a few years before diving in, and it took another couple years to get a reliable good shooter out of it.
