Thanks Dihn, you know these cheap Lathes are really terrible, you have to rebuild them every time you go to use them, they are very sloppy and trying to make them work is more work than you want.... , but I got it done..

       I was a machinist for just shy of 40 yrs. One  reasonably priced Engine Lathe I will vouch for is the "Jet Lathe". I believe Northern Hydraulic use to sell them. Rather than shelling out a whole lot of money on Digital readouts fit it with precision travel dials and save a good buck. There is other ways to do high precision work without digital equipt.

Jet lathes and other equipment are much nicer, but the prices reflect that, too much for my budget... I just have to put up with the cheap lathes and improve it as needed, I have some Dials for adjusting, I only have the Digital readout on my Mill, it was cheap in cost, I knew what I was getting when I bought the lathe, it's doing much better since I did some work on it, but it's still not dialed in to where I would like it to be.
