I will have to play with mine it kinda doesnt seem to like any pellet but the trigger is off for me dad is going to play with the trigger tomorrow and maybe put longer grubs in the trigger. The trigger on mine is a super longgggggggggggggggggggg first stage and no real wall at the second and breaks off at different points sometimes it goes off ahead of the creep then sometimes its behind the creep. I cant get it down pack at all so it scares the &^^& out of me which makes me jump and not hold my shot good after the shot which is important with a springer. Its super quiet and has a awesome shot cycle he tuned it up good. I just hope I can get the trigger straitened out so I can see how it groups. Hopefully a longer screw if i have one in my kit will make the first stage really short and get rid of that creep and get a idea of when it is close to going off right now its unpredictable so i cant really group it.
Believe me these rifles are very accurate! my .22cal USC loves the 5.53mm FTT's their a little snug going in, but they shoot! I have also had good accuracy with other pellets, keep in mind you have a new gun that needs to be broke in, the barrels on these guns need to be fouled from shooting them, it may take a tin of pellets or more before the accuracy gets tight! so the more you shoot them the better they get!!!
I have not ever set a trigger up to have a short or no movement in the 1st stage, I set all my triggers up to have a long 1st stage travel that comes to solid wall at the 2nd stage, the 2nd stage at that point breaks like a cracker, try turning all of the trigger adjustment screws back in to start off, I would try adjusting the big screw in the back of the trigger unit, that's the pressure adjustment, turn it out counterclockwise until you get the feel you like that's safe it may take 2 or 3 turns out and go from there, always keep a tight grip on the barrel when you break it open!!!! and hold on to it!!! in case you adjust it to far!!! if it slams up on you? it will probably destroy the rifle!!!! make sure you do this until you know all of your adjustments are safe and will hold the piston spring! keep the barrel pointed in a safe direction!!!

Oh definitely! Dean's is going to be a bit different than yours though. He let me have some fun and really see what we could push from the factory spring WITH tighter guides. We ended up just over 18ftlbs all said and done. It's not necessarily hold sensative but if he isn't comfortable with the trigger, he's going to struggle with groups. I sometimes forget to take into account that I shoot these things every day and there is a slight learning curve to them at full power for those who don't
Very nice Jeremy. I like that checking design much more than the compact star stocks. The wood grain of your stock is very nice too. What caliber did you opt for? I went with the .25
