Ron when you installed that oring did you use silicone grease on it or at lest some nd 30 It looks to have some metal transfer dirt on areas that may be where it failed .
Hope this time it takes, on the other hand you will get real good at this, I lost count how many times I have had Daisy 880s apart, but that was for my tinkering pleasure

That looks like it’s ready to drop into the stock. I have a few CMP 853’s but never knew they were so generous with seal kits and parts.
I tested the trigger pull and chronographed it.The trigger pulls at about 1.25 pounds and chronographs between 470 to 477 FPS.This is substantially more FPS and a little bit better on the trigger. So far I'm a happy camper. Ron
I wonder if it's possible the one that broke had a hairline crack in it before it got broke.
I wrote an email to Tommy at Civilian Marksmanship Program and he is sending mea new "action". I wonder if he sent the whole thing is because the barrel doesn't come out of the aluminum housing. It's threaded and just unscrews right?
